The star ratings shown next to each tool are not ours — they are pulled from third-party review platforms (G2, Trustpilot, Capterra, the App Store, Product Hunt and others), and every rating links back to its source so you can check it yourself.
A couple of honest caveats:
- Different tools are rated on different platforms, so the numbers are not strictly comparable across products.
- Some ratings rest on a small number of reviews — treat those as a rough signal, not a verdict.
For a more current read, lean on the user reviews and the “I use this” counts on each product page — those are first-party signals collected here.
Who runs transcrAIb?
transcrAIb is operated by t1k.ai (Tomas André). We also build Deep Thought, a Swedish AI transcription tool — so we have a stake in this market. In the interest of not marking our own homework, Deep Thought is deliberately not listed among the tools compared here.
We don't accept payment for rankings or placement, and all product data comes from public sources and user submissions. We aim to present it fairly — but you should weigh our comparisons with that affiliation in mind.
